Dental Director/Chief Academic Officer

Dr. Santana Jones has been practicing dentistry for 7 years. She is a native of South Carolina and attended undergrad at The University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. Dr. Jones obtained her Doctoral Degree in Dentistry from Meharry Medical College in May 2016. Since graduating dental school, Dr. Jones has been practicing General Dentistry with children. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), South Carolina Dental Association (SCDA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). Dr. Jones has a special way of using her journey in dentistry to connect with and inspire others. Dr. Jones is extremely passionate about dentistry. When she is not practicing and teaching dentistry she enjoys running, golfing, shopping and reading. Dr. Jones is honored to provide an excellent dental learning experience to the students of South Carolina.

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Jones is a Native of South Carolina and specifically Irmo, SC for the last 25 years. He is committed to the growth of the community of Irmo. He specializes in developing businesses in Irmo. He is a founder of Columbia Dental Assistant Academy. He specializes in daily operations and financial management of CDAA. Mr. Jones undertakes a broad spectrum of tasks in fulfilling this important role. He implements business plans and strategies to promote attainment of goals. He also ensures that the company has adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities. Mr. Jones’ excellent organizational and leadership skills help in organizing and coordinating operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity. His outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers who help come together to gather, analyze, and interpret external and internal data to support the growth of the CDAA business. When Mr. Jones is not working with CDAA, he enjoys golfing and fishing. Mr. Jones is dedicated to the success of the CDAA Students.

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Tolbert has been in the dental field since 2009. He started off as an Office Manager who helped grow a startup to $2 million. He started up two more practices that were producing over $1 million each. He left that organization to help grow 4 group practices from $4.5 million to $8.5 million. He is now with another organization that has 8 locations and is in the process of helping them grow and expand. Tolbert also does consultation for other dental practices that are looking at growing, implementing policies, or operations in general. Mr. Tolbert is from South Carolina and is proud to call it home. He helped start CDAA because he saw a lot of candidates that went to other dental assisting schools that were not properly trained, learned about professionalism, and the ins and outs of dentistry. His passion is to help people fulfill their dreams and help them with employment. Mr. Tolbert wants CDAA to provide world class training and the tools necessary to be a successful dental assistant. When Mr. Tolbert is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and 4 dogs. He also enjoys playing and watching all sports.
